Data centre maintenance

Management that keeps you in control

Reduce the overheads of managing a facility or relying on someone spotting a problem before it becomes a major headache.

4ON will remotely monitor all aspects of your facility to ensure it's operating at optimum levels, using open-source-based tools to seamlessly integrate with your facility, all at a significantly lower cost than more traditional approaches.

  • Critical power (UPS, generator) redundancy (static transfer switches), fuel levels, faults, efficiency and networking can be continually checked around the clock
  • Should a component go out of specification, we'll notify you; should the incident risk an impact to service, engineers familiar with your site can be automatically deployed, saving valuable time
  • Collected data is graphed for analysis and available to view, ensuring full transparency

Flexible and reliable, for peace of mind

With our approach to data centre maintenance, you won't be locked into expensive licences for propriety software or have a BMS platform that's too complicated to have any real value.

We've operated data centres for over 20 years so we're very aware of the shortcomings of much of what's available, such as when outages occur due to an oversight, lack of eyes on the ground or onsite knowledge to prevent it from happening.

Our experience and expertise simply lets you concentrate on what you do best, with the comfort and assurance that your facilities are being properly taken care of.

Remote monitoring

Data centre maintenance

Monitoring goes hand-in-hand with our data centre maintenance packages, further mitigating the risk of an incident that could impact users.

But our monitoring capability goes beyond simple preventative measures. Facilities are being put under increasing pressure to be ever more efficient - without compromising operation. We highlight where power is being used and whether it's being used in the most optimal way.

Monitoring can provide evidence to show when there's the need for a forensic deep-dive into the architecture, as a change of operation or equipment can often unlock significant savings with a quick ROI.

Smart power

There are plenty of options to explore for smart power usage, including triad avoidance, STOR, Demand Response and Dynamic Response. Or solutions for export which offset peaks and troughs on the national grid and can earn significant rebates on energy bills and carbon taxes.

There's now far more to a data centre than simply the hosting of information. By significantly reducing operating costs, margins can be improved and those savings passed on to users, giving your facility the upper hand in a competitive marketplace.
